Susan Cooper’s The Dark is Rising, Harry Potter series, TA Barron’s The Lost Years of Merlin, Lindsay Buroker’s Emperor’s Edge, Meg Cabot’s Mediator and 1-800-WHERE-R-U, Rachel Caine’s Morganville Vampires and Weather Warden. Oh how I love authors for spending their time writing so many good books!

(sorry for entering google as my website – this form wouldn’t let me submit without filling it in, for some odd reason)

All of them- I cannot imagine a life illiterate or isolated from books. From my earliest obsession (the Xanth series) to my shared love of Shakespeare, to my current wide genre net, I feel lucky to have experienced every one. Even the DNFs.

Choosing just one is impossible. Harry Potter goes without saying, but I would also add Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell and the Raven Cycle series (well, the three books that have been released) by Maggie Stiefvater.

I have to say Harry Potter! I know it may be a cliche, but cliche or not, it is the truth! It is the one series that I have to reread again and again, just to immerse myself into this amazing world, and live alongside of these amazing characters, again! Another series I feel the same about is Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Another rereader!

  14. Alisha Sienkiel

There are so many that I have been lucky to read! Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings because they are some of my favorites. Twilight and The Hunger Games because they exposed me to paranormal and dystopian books that have become my favorite genres.
