I liked the other Chaos books. I freaking loved this book!!!  This review is going to be short and sweet because otherwise it will be nothing but a jumbled mess of my love for this book.  I am giving this book five stars because I want to sing its praises. Ride Steady became a favorite because it is so sweet and genuine. I loved the relationship between Carissa and Joker. He could have gone down a bad road growing up with a dad that abused him and it took a couple of years but he got his act together joined one of the good… Read more »

[Review] The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

I read this book in one day because I liked it so much. I liked the humor, the heart break and, of course, the sizzling chemistry this book has to offer. I like when big sexy confident athletes give the babbling sometimes socially awkward girl a chance. There is something to be said for a guy that smiles and laughs when a girl is babbling about charming serial killers in the first five minutes of meeting him. I like a guy that will jump through some major hoops like writing a love poem, taking a sexy pic on red velvet… Read more »

This book took a little while for me to get into the story. In the end, I ended up liking this book. I have come to realize after reading The Marriage Contract is that I am becoming a fan of Katee Robert. I like her style of gritty action, hot sexy fun times, and humor. While I may not have connected to Callie and Teague right away, I did like the side characters. The Marriage Contract is about two people tied to the mob underworld in Boston. Callie Sheridan thinks she is just going to the strip club to check… Read more »

Last year I became a big fan of Sarah J Maas and this book just reiterates all the reasons why. I loved loved loved A Court of Thorns and Roses. I read this book in one day it was just that good. I have feeling this review is going to be short and sweet or will turn into nothing but the ramblings of a fangirl. A Court of Thorns and Roses is about a girl that kills a wolf but unwittingly that wolf is a Faerie and she must pay the price of killing a Faerie. That is how Feyre… Read more »

I have never read a book by Brighton Walsh and I will definitely be picking up more because I am in so much like with this book. If you are reader that is not a fan of any type of Beauty and the Beast themed or similar stories then walk away because this book is not for you. If you are like me and you like a story about a girl and guy thrown together in the most horrible of circumstances but still find a way to set themselves free and fall in love, then this book is for you…. [ARC Review] Sisters of Blood and Spirit by Kady Cross

I liked this book just okay. It was an entertaining read full of action and spooky times. It was kind of slow in parts and easy to put down. It was one those read’s that I am glad I read but it didn’t keep me riveting to my chair wondering what would happen next. Just as they compare themselves to the Scooby Gang, the story was pretty much like an episode of Scooby Doo, you can watch knowing the good guys will win in the end so you feel pretty safe letting Scooby Do run in the background while you… Read more »

[ARC Review] Vision in Silver by Anne Bishop

I like this series and the latest installment Vision in Silver was no exception. Vision in Silver is the third book in The Others series by Anne Bishop. I tried to keep thoughts general but there might be spoilers for the first two books in the series. Vison in Silver picks up after the events in Murder of Crows. Terra Indigene are on edge because a group called Humans First came after the group at the compound. They also think this group is tied to the humans that have been breeding and holding blood prophets hostage, Meg’s people. Simon, a… Read more »

I started listening to this audiobook one day at work. I became so engrossed in the story that I literally could not put this book down. I came home and kept right on listening to this book instead of turning on the TV. For me, this book was so entrancing that I could not stop until I had listened to the very last sentence. Under Different Stars opens with Kricket working and living under the radar because she ran away from foster care. Then one day her life changes forever when men from another world start coming after her. They… Read more »

[ARC Review] Diary of an Accidental Wallflower by Jennifer McQuiston

I am going to make this review short and sweet. Why? Diary of an Accidental Wallflower is a cute read and I am not sure there is much more I could say without adding endless nonsense. This story starts off cute because Claire is quite taken with Mr. Alban, a future duke. One day when she is in the park she sees him out and about but god forbid Mr. Alban sees Claire in an old day dress. She lunges into some bushes to hide and hurts her ankle. That is how Dr. Daniel Merial begins taking care of Claire’s… Read more »

[ARC Review] Cursed by Fire by Jacquelyn Frank

I think when I first saw the cover and blurb for this book I was expecting more of the same contemporary paranormal romance I have read. Centuries old cursed warrior set free in modern times. This book is different from that, in the fact when the centuries old warrior is set free, this book reads more like a romantic high fantasy novel. I liked that the setting was something different and the world building. I think that is the only aspect of this book that I really liked. The story itself was a bit a yawn with steamy happy fun… Read more »
