The Ghostwriter By Alessandra Torre Genre: Psychological Suspense / General Fiction Standalone, 316 pages   SYNOPSIS: I have three months to write the last book of my life. Three months to confess the details of that day, and how it changed everything for me. My name is Helena Ross. I’ve written fifteen romance novels, ten of which have become international bestsellers. But this one isn’t a romance. This novel holds only the truth, which I have run away from for four years. The truth, which I have hidden from the police, from my loved ones, from the world. This final… Read more »

[Review] The Time in Between by Kristen Ashley

In the past two years I have become a huge Kristen Ashely fan.  I am not surprised that I didn’t just love this book.  I freaking loved this book!!! So, I am going to keep this review short and sweet to keep the gushing at a minimum.  The Time in Between was like Persuasion but done Kristen Ashley style.  Meaning it was about an alpha male that doesn’t like games.  And, a woman who is looking for her happily ever after.  Things are rocky in the beginning because they have a lot of baggage from the time in between.  Though, they never stopped… Read more »

[Review] Fallen Heir by Erin Watt

*Warning* This review does not have any Fallen Heir spoilers but does contain some spoilers regarding the first three book in the Royals series.     Don’t hate me but Easton is not my favorite Royal.   I think Reed and Ella are and always be my favorite characters. I have always thought Easton was a self-absorbed entitled jerk. Sure, he connected with Ella and became someone she could trust and a brother she never had. But, Easton has addiction issues that stem from mental health issues. He needs professional help. I am not saying that as a negative thing…. Read more »

[ARC Review] All or Nothing at All by Jennifer Probst

I must admit I really like second chance romance stories. I know from experience that sometimes making a relationship work really is all about timing.  Why you might ask do I know about how a second chance at love can make all the difference?  Because, my parent’s love story was a second chance at love and they are still together to this day.  When I read the synopsis of All or Nothing at All I knew it was a story that I needed to read.   All or Nothing at All was a quick read that I devoured in days. … Read more »

[Review] A Seal’s Courage by J.M. Stewart

A Seal’s Courage is a story about a wounded ex-Navy Seal finding the courage to open his heart and love again. Trent is so scared to love again because his ex-wife couldn’t deal with the man he had become after he came home from war. Tragedy changes a person. I could only imagine what kind of mental and physical changes can occur after a tragedy in a war zone. There are the kind of scars that you can see and the kind of scars you can’t see. Sometimes the scars a person can’t see are the ones that never truly… Read more »

[Review] On the Plus Side by Alison Bliss

On the Plus Side is a sweet, quick, fast paced romance. I read it one sitting and really enjoyed it. Therefore, I think it deserves a short and sweet review. After finishing On the Plus Side, I know I am becoming a fan of Alison Bliss’ A Perfect Fit Series. These books are about sexy plus size women finding love. I really enjoyed this book, in particular, because it starred Valarie who is a confident curvy woman. It is so refreshing to read a story staring heroine of size and not have her worry about her weight all throughout the… Read more »

[Review] Shacking Up by Helena Hunting

I think there is certain style one expects from a Helena Hunting book.  It has to be funny.  It has to be charming.  It has to be so sexy that you can’t read the book in a public place.  I think that Shacking Up delivers all that.  It was cute, very sexy, and parts of it had me cracking up. It’s also predictable and very cheesy. But, I think that is what I liked about Shacking Up.  It is not the kind of read that is going to make you think about it days after.  It is what is and… Read more »

[ARC Review] When It’s Real by Erin Watt

I don’t think I have stayed up all night reading a book in one sitting in a while. I have to say after my all night binge read, When It’s Real is fantastic!     I have to admit I really wanted to read this book because I love Erin Watt. I know the description sounds really cheesy almost like Justin Bieber fan fiction. I am here to say that this book is super good and super addictive. I fell in with Vaughn and Oakley so much that I could not this book down. Even though this book is about… Read more »

[Review]Bedmates by Nicole Chase

Bedmates is the first Nichole Chase book I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. Bedmates was a sweet and sexy read set in the back drop of American politics. I liked that Bedmates was really a story about two people growing up while finding a way to make their dreams come true. Sometimes it is not always about politics but finding the path to happiness that truly matters. The story is about Maddie the First Daughter of the United States. Maddie is a young college student intent on making the lives all animals better. She just doesn’t… Read more »

OMG this book is amazing!!! Like if my life didn’t get in the way I would not have put this book down amazing!!!!  I can not express how much I loved this book but I will try.     I loved Marco and he might have made a book boyfriend list I may or may not have.         The Lovely Reckless is sexy, a tear jerker, and most of all a fantastic story!!! What I loved most about this book was the message: save yourself because you are the only who can. It has been a year… Read more »
