When I first started reading this book it didn’t take long to figure out Finch’s mental health issues reminded me of someone I know. I didn’t think I would like this book because I usually don’t like reading books with characters that hit a little too to home to be comfortable. This is not something I always discuss with strangers but I have a parent that was eventually diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
