*Warning* This review does not have any Fallen Heir spoilers but does contain some spoilers regarding the first three book in the Royals series.     Don’t hate me but Easton is not my favorite Royal.   I think Reed and Ella are and always be my favorite characters. I have always thought Easton was a self-absorbed entitled jerk. Sure, he connected with Ella and became someone she could trust and a brother she never had. But, Easton has addiction issues that stem from mental health issues. He needs professional help. I am not saying that as a negative thing…. Read more »

I feel like this book has been on the top of to read pile for a while now. I don’t know why I didn’t pick it up. I am glad I did because in the end I liked it and I know there will be more men from the Marked series in my future.     Rule was a little hard for me to get into at first but I think that was because I picked up this book trying to get over a book hangover from the book I had just read. Once I got into this book and… Read more »

[Review] The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

I read this book in one day because I liked it so much. I liked the humor, the heart break and, of course, the sizzling chemistry this book has to offer. I like when big sexy confident athletes give the babbling sometimes socially awkward girl a chance. There is something to be said for a guy that smiles and laughs when a girl is babbling about charming serial killers in the first five minutes of meeting him. I like a guy that will jump through some major hoops like writing a love poem, taking a sexy pic on red velvet… Read more »

I have never read a book by Brighton Walsh and I will definitely be picking up more because I am in so much like with this book. If you are reader that is not a fan of any type of Beauty and the Beast themed or similar stories then walk away because this book is not for you. If you are like me and you like a story about a girl and guy thrown together in the most horrible of circumstances but still find a way to set themselves free and fall in love, then this book is for you…. [Review] Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout

In Wicked, Jennifer L. Armentrout, does it again and delivers another fantastic book. This time the heroine is up against the fae. The fae are not some sweet magical race that is just misunderstood. No, they are wicked and feed off the human. It is up to Ivy and her the Order she works for to fight the fae for the good of the human race. I really liked this book because it had everything I have come to love about a JLA book. It had a heroine that kicked butt and didn’t take orders from a man. It had… Read more »

[Review] As Long As You Love Me by Ann Aguirre

This book is a standalone story but it is part of series about three roommates. While I liked I Want it That Way, I liked this book better because there was just something about the characters that I could really relate to. The main character Lauren has major social anxiety. It has become such an issue that she has to quit school and go back home before her anxiety turns into a major drinking problem. I can relate so well to social anxiety because I have some of the same issues. While mine probably aren’t as debilitating as Lauren’s it… Read more »

I liked this short story in the Hard Ink Series. It was sweet and it was it also like a nice reprieve in the overall story line. The series is about five men who are ex-military Special Forces. In the first book the daughter of commander who betrayed them and cost them their careers shows up asking for help. The five guys plus some extra friends band back together to find help the daughter while clearing their name. The story line is kind of like A-Team meets a romance novel. This short is all about Easy. He starts having feelings… Read more »

[Review] The Wicked We Have Done by Sarah Harian

I finished this book a few days before I started writing this review. Why have I waited to write the review? I actually don’t like writing bad reviews and I was trying to think if I could find anything redeeming in this book that would raise my original assessment from a two star rating to a three star. No, I wasn’t able to think of anything that might make me think The Wicked We Have Done is an okay book and makes want to read more stories in The Chaos Theory world. Others might disagree and for them this book… Read more »

Okay. Since this damn series was first talked about, this song has made it’s way back into my playlist. My sixth grade self is totally okay with this development. There, now that we’ve got that out of our systems. Let me preface this review. Dudes, I had a kid at 20, I can totally sympathize with both sides of Sam’s parentage. My boyfriend at the time (now husband), wanted the baby, and the pregnancy was hard. He was still in college and instead of stalling his life, I moved in with my parents and pushed him to finish. He did,… Read more »

[ARC Review] The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan

If I had to sum The Hook Up with just a few words it would be: Hot! Hot! Hot! This book was smoking hot. It is not the type of book you want to read on a plane, train, or well anywhere in public. It is the kind of book that is best read in private because take my word for it, it will make you blush. I liked The Hook Up, but then I think I like anything Kristen Callihan writes. I think she could write a picture book and I would still be like oh wow I really… Read more »
