If you are like me and already a fan of Miranda Kenneally then you know that her books are super cute romances about following the heart and making dreams come true. With that being said I really liked Jesse’s girl. What is there not to like about a sexy country music super star that sings songs about riding around on his big tractor?     I really liked this book because it was an easy breezy read. I sat down and the book in less than five hours. The book has a super cheesy plot line but somehow it works…. Read more »

First let me say that I got this book out of my very first subscription box from The Bookworm Box. The Bookworm Box is a book subscription box that you order and receive once a month. The Bookworm Box was started by Colleen Hoover and other awesome people. The most awesome thing about The Bookworm Box is that all the proceeds after overhead costs go the charity of the month. When I heard about this book box I knew I had to sign up. The box is usually made up of adult contemporary romance novels. If that is not your… Read more »

I liked parts of this book but there were parts I didn’t like. It wasn’t the best book I have read or the worst. It was just okay. I think I was just looking for something a little bit more. I am giving A Million Miles Away three stars and it was just a meh and shrug kind of book.     I know I am going to say this and shocker when I say it but I wish there was a bit more angst. A bit more drama. The girl pretended to be her dead twin sister for almost… Read more »

I liked the other Chaos books. I freaking loved this book!!!  This review is going to be short and sweet because otherwise it will be nothing but a jumbled mess of my love for this book.  I am giving this book five stars because I want to sing its praises. Ride Steady became a favorite because it is so sweet and genuine. I loved the relationship between Carissa and Joker. He could have gone down a bad road growing up with a dad that abused him and it took a couple of years but he got his act together joined one of the good… Read more »

I read this book in one day because I liked it so much. I liked the humor, the heart break and, of course, the sizzling chemistry this book has to offer. I like when big sexy confident athletes give the babbling sometimes socially awkward girl a chance. There is something to be said for a guy that smiles and laughs when a girl is babbling about charming serial killers in the first five minutes of meeting him. I like a guy that will jump through some major hoops like writing a love poem, taking a sexy pic on red velvet… Read more »

This book took a little while for me to get into the story. In the end, I ended up liking this book. I have come to realize after reading The Marriage Contract is that I am becoming a fan of Katee Robert. I like her style of gritty action, hot sexy fun times, and humor. While I may not have connected to Callie and Teague right away, I did like the side characters. The Marriage Contract is about two people tied to the mob underworld in Boston. Callie Sheridan thinks she is just going to the strip club to check… Read more »

I started this audiobook at work. I liked it so much that I could not put it down. I finished reading it when I got home from work. Wild Hearts was just so sweet and incredibly romantic that I could not put it down. I think there is just something about two people falling in love for the first time that it fills me up with so much good feelings and happiness.   Wild Hearts is about Brie a girl that has lived all over the place because her dad is a land developer. They end up in a very small ranching… Read more »

Last year I became a big fan of Sarah J Maas and this book just reiterates all the reasons why. I loved loved loved A Court of Thorns and Roses. I read this book in one day it was just that good. I have feeling this review is going to be short and sweet or will turn into nothing but the ramblings of a fangirl. A Court of Thorns and Roses is about a girl that kills a wolf but unwittingly that wolf is a Faerie and she must pay the price of killing a Faerie. That is how Feyre… Read more »

I started reading this book a while back but for some reason I just could not get into it. I picked up the audiobook and I found that in the end I am now kind of hooked on this series now. The Replaced takes up where The Taking left off with Kyra’s dad missing and her boyfriend having been taking by the aliens. Now Kyra is on the run with Simon and a group of other taken they have met along the way. Most of the first book is Kyra and her pals running from evil government agents that want… Read more »

Oh, my goodness. I’m so glad that I got this from First Reads. I rolled around on the floor for awhile and then found that their download site was all broken. But everything worked out in the end, because I still got a hold of this beauty and let me tell you, it was such a good read. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but it certainly lives up to the hype. There is so much happening in this book. There are elements of magic, desertion, usurping, spying, cults, mythical creatures and pretty much anything else you can think… Read more »
